This training session will not
only help you, as a business representative, train your employees how to
recycle, but also how to maintain your current recycling program.
Those attending the training will receive a packet containing a
customizable interactive CD and a training manual.
Topics will include how and why businesses should recycle
electronics, fiber, fluids (oil, solvents, etc.), and fluorescent light
Latsch’s will host and
sponsor this half-day training session to assist local businesses in
purchasing recycled-content office supplies.
Attendees will receive WasteCap’s guide entitled “Buy Recycled:
Train the Trainer Program.”
Held in conjunction with the Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department’s CESQG Hazardous Waste Collection, this grant-funded collection will offer businesses the opportunity to recycle old electronic equipment at a reduced fee.

Assist staff in membership outreach and fund seeking. Develop strategic business plan and membership structure.
Assist staff in identifying
service providers, researching new waste reduction/recycling alternatives,
and reviewing waste assessments. Develop
master agreements and minimum performance standards for service providers.
Assist with finding partners, hosts and sponsors for training sessions, talk & tours, workshops, etc. Assist in research and development for educational programs and workshops.
